Bob DylanDear Mr. Dylan, I see that now you are not what you once were. Your words get caught in your tired lungs, and your audience forgets that it is you directly in front of them. I don't think you mind. And yet I don't know why you still do it. I can tell that maybe, your heart's not where it once was. Maybe you don't want to perform anymore. You look so nice standing in front of all those lights with the gigantic shadow of who you were before cast behind you. I didn't want to leave, I didn't want you to go backstage, have another cigarette, take another hour off of your fantastic and fabled life. But you did. But I'm not disappointed,Bob Dylan

Thorny CoupleShe walked on solid cement He walked on the grass far away Speeding ahead from solving a problem And a thorny bush rested between them A thorny bush with poison red berries And they didn't even bother to turn and look. They dug at each other's skinThorny Couple
Scratching just where it hurt most And the thorny bush rested between them. They threw stones, and threw berries Staining their skin and their tongues. Bleeding and scratching, but vowing their love But a thorny bush rests between them And yet they will never move apart.
